DAYUM!!–Cartoon Network: Netflix Is Hurting Our TV Ratings

adventure-time

Well besides just netflix shows are going straight online. The creators of adventure did a secondary series called Bravest warriors which was shipped straight to youtube and it’s pretty damn rad. They said forget the old model you have to get with the times.

In response to anime related material HUlu has a better library of anime with the choice of subtitle and Japanese language which to an anime fan is the biggest plus ever. Unfortunately most dubs are horrible and the voice acting is simply lazy and leaves some of the flicks unwatchable well in my opinion. Ofcourse my issue with HUku is they have commercials even when you pay which in a way is a turn off. Hence I don’t pay to use their service which opts me out of the mobile usage which is actually a great service like netflix. If they were to drop the commercials I would without a doubt pay for their service.

DAYUM!!– So I saw Red Dawn 2012- What a piece of shit- Retrieves copy of 1984 version.

red_dawn

I recently saw the 2012 remake of the 1984 classic Red Dawn, sighs for a moment the remake was so much crap. Immediately after watching this poor excuse I had to look up the old Red Dawn, that movie was a million times better, with a more believable level of acting. Also the sound track was also better in the 1984 version.
Seriously talking to Sheen’s credit this was his first flick so he did a decent job I suppose but I felt like chucking my tv out the window when I saw the 2012 version, running with no direction a horrible directed flick, The emotional connection to the characters were not present. In the 1984 some of the deaths were so abrupt and caught the audience off guard and to a degree felt more raw and natural because death is a natural thing not scripted. In the 1984 version the last scene when sheen died and his brother was holding him. The feeling between the brothers where the older brother knew his brother was no longer alive and the feeling that your last kin was gone. The character that was tragically shot by the Hind Helicopter, who through out the film had a dark growth, where at the end you felt sorry for him as he also knew he had nothing to live for anymore. The last scene in the new movie even made me want to hunt down the director, not saying anymore than that, you know how the social network works.
I had to go look up my copy of red Dawn and watch it to clear what I saw, I was thinking what the Hell did I just watch, they just pissed on a great movie with these lame actors.
