I love this series, they seem to always have the right element and the right theme that propels this show forward. FreddieW and his crew have created a loveable web-series that stomps most daytime tv series from disney and the likes.

This issue here has little to do with race. More importantly, what does an international retail corporation have to do with trap-hip hop crossover music and young black kids? Nothing. K Mart, like any corporation, will sweep up what they believe to be trending at the moment and exploit it for their own profit margin. If you want to make this a discussion of race, you could say they chose young black performers to make this music video seem more “authentic” in the eyes of K Mart consumers.”
