I have always admired Michel Gagne’s work after seeing Perlude to Eden so many years ago. This was what animation was to me a beautiful splendid work of art, a breath of fresh air and a supreme throw back. If you have not seen any of his work then that is a must.

The funny thing is I never really knew about this Animator that much even though I seen his work many times. My first real notice of this artist was at SIGGRAPH (short for Special Interest Group on GRAPHics and Interactive Techniques) In California In 2001. His work was the bumper for the film festival as he was a nominee I believe. I believe his work was dealing with Nightmare creatures of various form, trust me this guy is extremely weird. His prior work which also saw maybe a year prior was Prelude to Eden which I mentioned. Which was a masterfully created special effect blast. Now jumping ahead several years is his current work which is based on one of his books name Flight which is a collection, He had a Kickstarter campaign which I was not aware of, he also has a game out called Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet which I am aware of and always planned on getting but this game loos incredibly difficult, but the art work is extremely beautiful.
