This past weekend (1-24-2014–1-26-2014) I was privileged to work with a wonderful group of people as part of the globalgamejam of 2014 , which was totally awesome sauce. If you are not aware of what a gamejam is well it sure as hell is not jam that you put on a bread but a collaboration of individuals who are setting out to make a game within a limited time scope (48hrs) following a specific theme. This was my first gamejam and I am proud to say I worked with a team of talented individuals and we produced something that was worth while under the limited time. Would I work with them again, hells yeah. Anyway check out the link. I was heralded to work on the sprites for the characters while my fellow artist Christine handled the higher res anime styled art and the other team members, Adam (west) -programmer, Justin( bieber)-programmer Chris(farley)- writer/audio, jason(statham)- Team captain and myself Ned( Flanders/stark etc)-art ninja. This kept my mind off the depression that will further set in tonight. For more on the game and the globalgamejam event follow the link.

REALTALK-If Money Is Your Only Goal, You’ll Never Achieve It: Multimillionaire Gurbaksh Chahal

Gurbaksh_Chahal

Pep talk of 2014 taken from Elite-Daily Channel in regards to the Gurbaksh Chahal video posted on their Channel. Seriously talking if you have a passion and drive for your product or business or in the words of greats trying to solve a problem that you see then there is room to be successful it’s not just about the money even though money is most times required to make those steps. Like wise find your niche your drive and your passion and go for it. I believe when you live a life you should not waste it doing something you have no concern or care for it should be done for something your passion and drive fuels you to do.

Below is an excerpt taken from Elite-Daily Channel.
From a purely financial standpoint, few could deny that RadiumOne founder and CEO Gurbaksh Chahal has experienced immense success. From generating $100,000 monthly just 90 days into his entrepreneurial career, to selling one company for $40 million and another to Yahoo! for $300 million, the California native has built a resume of a man who seems to be all about the bottom line. Yet, when the businessman has a chance to speak candidly, he proves that he is anything but.

“Unfortunately, everybody values how successful you are based on how much wealth you’ve created,” he says. “But ultimately that’s not the goal because if that’s the goal you’re never gonna go ahead and actually achieve it. Greed can’t be a part of the equation.”

In this exclusive interview with Elite Daily, Chahal elaborates on what truly defines success, what a lack of fear has done for his career, and the sense of purpose entrepreneurship has given him among other lessons in this latest edition of “StartUp From The Bottom.”
