theshow-rap

I finally had the chance to see Rap Discografia video and all I have to say this is simply amazing. I don’t pretend to understand the new age hiphop culture, there are a few good artist and there are a many wack or simply pathetic artist. I can assure you the individuals like myself who associated with that 90’s age of hiphop was not there for inspirational music but for the flow ad beats and sometime the words. It’s hard when you look back and hear what the artist had to say at the time of how they viewed things and what they were trying to empower. It gives you the sense of sadness that the world has devolved into a senseless portrayal of main stream hiphop. There are still many new age underground hiphop artist that when I come across their tracks I am inspired and feel that the true reasoning behind the rise of hiphop is not entirely lost. There are still alot of younger generation that don’t quite understand what they are listening to but simply listen because it therapeutic or somewhat pleasing. Not all hiphop/rap is good music nor is it empowering. There are a few that I can state when I hear the tracks and flow it tells a story that you want to relate to and to empathize with. Today that does not really exist, it’s simply money and sex, no uplifting no nothing just a lost generation. My generation was at one point considered a lost generation. Now the generation that followed is the lost generation as said by many. I simply think they are not lost but confused and unsure as there are so many possibilities out there. Anyway enough of me ranting watch the show.
