My Friend post- I will leave the name out but he does have a logical and true post.
I’ve been reading the abundance of factually inaccurate things people have posted on FB about the Zimmerman case, and it has lead me to believe that most of you are too stupid to be allowed opinions. If all you read, watched, listened to, or engaged in was the final decision of the case, then shut up. This isn’t an insignificant topic to be relegated into hate-filled angry blurbs. It’s deserving of intelligent discussion, and your tantrum-like shouts to support your unsupported “beliefs” are irrelevant. I don’t care which side of the argument you choose to be on. You’re not educated enough to have a seat at the table if you don’t know the actual facts of the case. You’re an idiot spewing an opinion who can’t even take the time to proof what you’re spewing…and you sicken me. Now, if you want to support your claims with actual proof and not just beliefs and opinions, go for it. I doubt you can do it. Truth might be setting the bar a bit too high for those of you entrenched in wiki-culture where if it’s on the Internet, it must be true. I’m daring you to think. Prove me wrong. Or shut up. Either way, I win.
My Comment to my friend most logical and true post-
The most honest comment I have read in a few days. In a case like this the Good will suffer with the bad. Do I know the full disclosure with the case no, am I bit angry, not really am I surprised ,again not the least as it has become the norm. I think the thing is that many are just frustrated. Frustrated at the fact that people are vilified for being of a certain background or creed. It’s more than just race it is cultural. Most say nothing anything or simply sit by and say well I don’t want to upset anyone. Forgetting about the case, lets use my life for example as I know my life best. I will try to keep this short. Born and raised in Jamaica the island, I grew in a good house hold. Many things I never understood or was simply shield from as a child growing in a multicultural country much like here. Fast forward a few years later I now live in America I am teen with cousin, friends and brother. Out of no where comes a series of cops, yelling at us and telling us to get off our bicycles. Mind you we are kids riding around the park having fun, not antagonizing anyone but right away we are accused of stealing bicycles. Earlier that day a young man’s bicycle was stolen, so of course we were the supposed individuals that did the stealing. Within a few minutes the accuser came and advised them that no that is not his bicycle and just like that the cops when away. No apologies no nothing. There were many other points in my life much like others but I need not go there right now. Yes I understand that as a culture many see certain groups of individuals as wild, reckless and down right idiots who do stupid things and make themselves look less than what they should be and we are to blame. Consider my background I cannot speak for any other race than my own. Do I hate any other race no, do some get special treatment, well of course without a doubt, can things be changed most definitely but that will take a long time. We all have to prove ourselves day in and day out and to heck I work as hard as and most time harder to attain what I want, but then again not everybody is me nor can I expect them to be. But come on now do I have to be vilified everyday because of how I look, dress or behave. Understandably how we see someone is how we class them and then of course after we hopefully get to know that person we can then class them in a different light. Men do this to women and women do this to me, so of course it has to be expected when dealing with race and creed. All in all I think your statement is justified, but you have to understand the years of anger and frustration. We are to blame at some point but this is a psychological game that is being played and played we surely are. There are other depth I could go but that is just going to far outside the discussion and this should not sway so far. Seeing that I respect your opinion and I respect you I will stop at that. One day we will get to that point but today is not that day. Maybe Tomorrow will be a good day.
Yeah that was some long ass Fraggle blog, what the hell.
