There are two articles documenting the props and cons of being an indie developer. What is it to be a indie developer you may ask, what does it take. For starters an indie developer or producer is a creator free from the restraints of a major corporation putting a strangle hold the individual or groups of individuals that are attempting or already on a goal to make a labor of love. In short in my eyes being indie is being able to convey your message the way you want. From what I understand if you are being funded by a larger entity or a corporation or simply getting payed to do your work that excludes you from being indie. There are way too many things to define being indie. One Blaze Studio is currently an independent entity which operates on its own with no outside funds except for money received from doing contractual work. If you fall into that category and not read these wonderful article or even seen indiegame the movie you must see these and then take a stroll over to the indie game movie website and check it out.

So I was feeling out of the weather today not known up or down and then I saw this video. In life time we think about alot of things and our mortality is one of them and the age old question when is the end. This old timer who was a typographer and at the time of the video was 97 and used MS paint to constructs his visual representation of the world he exist in. Void of anything but time he sits and works at his digital painting. This made my day and I hope it does for you too.
