A throw back to one of anime fallen musicians Jun Seba also known as Nujabes was a Japanese Hip-Hop Producer, a titan in Japan music arena much like Yoko Kanno. He created the iconic music for Samurai Champloo among other music he created in his career gone but certainly not forgotten. You can see how this music teacher ensured that by teaching his young students the score of a life time. Rip Nujabes you will be missed.

Many moons ago I saw Interstella5555. Actually before I saw the whole movie I saw pieces of this film on Cartoon network and wondered what the hell was this animation and how I have not seen it before. This movie was a big thank you from one of my favorite groups Daft Punk to their childhood love of anime something that may have influenced some of their music. Beyond the reasoning and going back to the animated music video which spanned a hour. This was a flavor of love from the start to the finish I won’t ruin anything for you in terms of spoilers. Lets just say it has many downer moments but keeps you right in the drivers seat at all times.If you love DaftPunk and space opera anime you will love this. As a side not when I was searching for the anime on dvd it was almost impossible to find as there was some doubt that it would be well received here but fortunately it was released and I was able to snag this awesome collection.
