Strike Boogie a professional art director in the comic & video game industry. Situated in Toronto, his recent credentials include official artwork for Metal Gear Art Studio in 2013, lead by Konami UK division and alongside Yoji Shinkawa. Strike was also assigned as the cover artist of the official Danity Kane comic series, published by Eigomanga and created by superstar singer Dawn Richard of the previous famous groups Danity Kane & Diddy-Dirty Money under Bad Boy Records.

Was there a “spark” moment for you when it came to deciding to creating art?

“Yes, there definitely was! Putting pencil to paper came from the driving force that my cousin Kelvin aspired for to become a comic book artist. His inspiration was Jim Lee, and I therefore had been exposed to the western world of comics at a young age around 9-10 years old. I came to discover Japanese animation when I stumbled upon Sailor Moon and it changed the approach of expressive artistic style just before I hit high school. It was when I entered my senior year that I established visual arts as the main forefront of my artistic abilities.”

Getting to the meat of this article, Ankama games which has released such games as Dofus and Wakfu has an animated series out there that they may need your support in getting subtitled and dubbed in English and other languages. If you are down for that party read on as they have great incentives for investors.

I have been a fan of the Ankama series of games such as Dofus which later spawned Wakfu for a long time, the art style color and sheer vibrant energy that this project held is simply a marvel. I believe it was last year I came across the animated series and was stunned that there was an animated series, mind you I have forgotten about the Dofus universe for many moons as this game is old as hell in game years that. Dofus was a game created in flash like wise Wakfu is an animation also created in Adobe Flash. To all the nay sayers that state flash is a horrid animation tool, please hold your hacks until you exit the plane. going back to the series it is simply beautiful and I encourage viewers to take notice and check it out. I have included a link to one of the episode for you marveling interest.

Either way these kats are trying to get an English dubbed and subtitled version out so if you are down for that party join in and throw your money at them and get the watching. As usual enough of my talk simply check out the content and support the cause if it up your alley. Just to be clear they already hit goal so if you want in that is really up to you.
