So I recently binged the latest She-ra by Dreamworks and I have to say wow what a good damn job they did. It had humor but not an insane amount, it had character building, it had decent writing, the character designs were quite modern and fitting I was not displeased one bit. The animation did not look stiff it was very fluid. As an animator and character designer I was quite proud of what they accomplished. Naturally I am very critical and many seem to dislike that nature and I get most times get dubbed an ass or entitled etc but for this series I really had nothing to say. Dreamworks really went in on this and did not treat the audience like buffoons and I felt this series can inspire young people due to the various characters one being Glitter who was not the a-typical character design which I have to give them a thumbs up on. The humor reminds me of “Avatar The Last Airbender”. I won’t give too much away but check it out you will love it like I did.
