DAYUM!!! PEACEKEEPER SERIES!! HOLY COW!

Wow just wow, this series was a wild, crazy and amazing ride, John Cena really is a talented actor. I recently saw him in a film called vacation friends and all I can say was I laughed extremely hard. John Cena’s character is called the Peacekeeper much like the name of the series. His character was based on same character played in the Suicide Squad film of 2021. Similarly to the film his character is a vigilante but unlike the film he is simply trying to redeem and find himself. More which I will get into later. Due to my lack of knowledge of the peacekeeper’s back story I felt more intrigued to find out more about this character and was alarming more glued to the episodic journey. The cast was an interesting mix of film and tv legends and some new faces. Each was able to carry their own weight but sadly I have to say John Cena was front and center and simply shone brightly as Peacekeeper. From episode one to the finale I was at the edge of my seat just hoping they complete this season on the highest note and they delivered.

In this series the peacekeeper is simply trying to redeem himself after killing Rick Flag along with battling his other many demons that come in the form of his brother and father. Aside from that he is a womanizer among many things but has a big heart for his new team and simply tries his best to do what he feels is right and true, can you even believe he is a bit hesitant to kill, just a little bit. Either way as mentioned this is simply a joy ride. Strap in as this is a one way trip through mayhem and awesomeness.

DAYUM!! SPACE SWEEPERS… well

This past weekend I watched a film on netflix called “Space sweepers”, my conclusion was a wow statement. Lets begin don’t go in expecting anything amazing and philosophical just shut your brain off and just let the wave hit you. It’s a beautiful joyride, probably because I adore scifi flicks and series etc but damn there are so many things in this that made no damn sense. The best way I can describe this film is to compare it to watching an 80’s space opera anime like say Robotech or Macross or even Gundam but live-action but with less sense but the same intensity.
There are points where they throw scifi space logic out the window and say shiiit we are going to wing it.. Seriously after watching a series like “The expanse” which seems to do space logic so amazingly well it’s hard to watch anything that simply disregards some physics or even gives a reason why this works in that way. There is a point in the film where their ship freefalls to earth from orbit and then immediately stops then ramps back to space…. yeah they should all be dead, sighs oh well. Give it a watch you may enjoy it, I actually watched it to the end. Still a bit on the what the heck did I just watch but if you want to simply have fun and laugh this film right here is that scifi space adventure. The crew possibly had fun making it I suppose, maybe. Check it out on netflix.
